A deconstructed 1915 in situ concrete cast building at the former Elizabeth Shaw Chocolate factory in Bristol has been the focus of my MA year. Culminating in an installation expressing its remarkable size, the materials from which it is built and the barriers that have physically, but not creatively, kept me out of it have been reduced to a floating ephemeral sculpture.
